Jen Sall is a writer and director committed to creative work that is thought-provoking and sparks conversation across film, television, and digital media.

Jen directed and co-wrote the short film, Your Night is My Day, starring actor and musician Benjamin Earl Turner (Blindspotting, Snowfall) which premiered at the 2025 Mill Valley Film Festival featuring an original song by Benjamin. The short is based on her series of the same name, a semi-finalist in the 2021 Sundance Institute Episodic Lab.

Her film, This Could Have Been an Email, was a 2025 Cleveland International Film Festival and Cinequest Film Festival selection (both Oscar qualifying festivals) as well as other festivals around the world. She co-wrote the feature SuperNormal based off the short, This Could Have Been an Email, which is a 2026 Stowe Story Labs Narrative Labs Fellowship Finalist and 2025 Cordillera Screenplay Finalist. Her pilot, Operation Miniskirt,is a 2025 Austin Film Festival Second Rounder in the Screenplay competition.

She recently worked with MACRO on a series she created starring Erika Alexander (American Fiction, Get Out) which includes Danielle Brooks (Minecraft), Dewayne Perkins (The Studio) and Rafael Casal (Tulsa King) . She has directed branded project for various companies and brands including CULTURED starring Sarah Sherman (SNL), CHIEF and California Suicide Awareness.

She is a member of BAFTA, P.G.A. and the Television Academy.
