Shania Banton, a proud New York native and a dynamic force in storytelling. As a Director, Writer, and Producer in TV, Film, Digital, and Commercial realms, her unwavering passion drives her career forward.

From her earliest days crafting short stories, Shania's focus has always been on eliciting powerful emotions through her work while celebrating the richness of Black American and Caribbean American culture. This dedication led her to direct shorts like "145-Days" (Revolt TV) and a scripted digital series such as "Waves," (Amazon Prime) which garnered acclaim in Spike Lee’s documentary “Da Republic of Brooklyn” and held the #1 spot on the esteemed streaming service, Kweli TV, for over two years.

Shania has collaborated with industry giants including HBO, NETFLIX, MTV, REVOLT, 40 Acres and a Mule Films, Blacktag, Fiverr, and Squarespace, among others.
